We thank everybody who came to the annual Mahasamadhi (Final Liberation) Ceremony for Swami Lakshmanjoo and made it a memorable event. We all enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere created by the day long fire ceremony and traditional recitation of mantras and chanting, and took prashad (food blessed by the Master) of delicious traditional Kashmiri vegetarian foods and sweets.

Afterwards we came together for the next four days to meditate and study audio and video recordings of Swamiji from the Tantraloka, and some eighty-five ‘Special Verses’ that Swamiji had compiled during the Summer of 1987. When asked about the source of these ‘Special Verses’ Swamiji replied, “It is not for research, it is for your daily recitation . . . maybe sometime you will experience these stages . . . it will be helpful to you in your spiritual practice.” (We will share some of them with you in the next blog posts)

Here are some photos…
