We would like to thank everybody who attended the annual Mahasamadhi (Final Liberation) Ceremony for Swami Lakshmanjoo (1907-1991) and made it a memorable event. Everyone enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere created by the Kalash puja and Fire ceremony with traditional recitations and explanations. Afterward, everyone enjoyed Prashad (blessed food) of delicious traditional Kashmiri vegetarian dishes and lots of sweets. The day ended with many stories about the life of Swami Lakshmanjoo.
We also thank those who attended the following four days to study Kashmir Shaivism at our annual Fall Retreat. There were lively discussions during our study of the Tantraloka and unpublished “Wisdom in Kashmir Shaivism” a collection of special verses selected by Swamiji that we will be presenting at a workshop in December 2020 in Delhi, India.
